RSA-EX1000

The ELEGANT REALISTIC SOUND

We will release of the RSA-EX1000, our new amplifier with a rich musicality and realistic sound quality.

Wouldn’t you agree the beautifully rich and long tones of a live cello will be soaked in your heart alone?
What about the emotions you feel when experiencing the smooth, soft character of a live violin?
The sweet and mellow sounds of a trumpet?
Even the subtle low notes of a grand piano will long resonate with the listener.

Because "Music" is created by the tones of various instruments, the violin must sound like a violin, and the oboe must sound like an oboe in order to faithfully convey the musical expression contained in the "performance." This is why we are creating sound while checking the reality of the tone of each instrument. The sound created in this way is free of harsh sounds and flows smoothly into your heart elegantly. We call this an ELEGANT REALISTIC SOUND.

Pure Direct without losing minute signals

The tone of an instrument is made up of complex harmonics. And these harmonics have high frequencies and low levels. Look at the diagram on the right. This is a spectrum analysis of the single note "E" in the second measures of the "Chaconne" from Partita No. 2 for Solo Violin. We can see that the fundamental frequency is 660Hz, and that harmonics exist in the high range. The level of harmonics around 10kHz is very low, but if these signals were not reproduced, the smooth, natural tone of the violin would not be achieved.

Therefore, in order to correctly express the tone of an instrument, it is necessary to transmit the signal to the speaker without losing those minute harmonics.
In the RSA-EX1000, the main circuit board is newly designed for this purpose, and by wiring from the volume controller to the low-pass filter in the shortest possible way, it is possible to keep minute signals and clearly guide them to the speaker without spoiling the delicate tone.
Making the circuit smaller reduces the effects of wiring, improving performance. This is because the wiring acts as an inductance. Class D does not generate heat, so even a device that outputs 200W can be made with a small heat sink placed on the board. This makes it possible to make a small, high-output unit with good characteristics. This construction is the basis of delicate tonal expression.

Power Supply

R-core transformer

The R-core transformer is highly efficient, so there is little energy loss. So changing music signals can be reproduced stably. This 600VA R-core transformer was specially designed for the RSA-EX1000.It depicts the peaks and valleys of music by a wide margin.

Smoothing capacitor UNIT

The smoothing capacitor used in the RSA-EX1000 is large and heavy, so it is supported by a metal holder. It contributes to very crisp, very natural tones. Then, it reproduces faithful bass by a wide margin

Capacitor Blending

We create ELEGANT REALISTIC SOUND by blending various capacitors including the smoothing capacitors above. We place each capacitors in various locations to match their functions. We make delicate adjustments to place the right capacitors in the right circuit to create a realistic tone.

Shield Structure

It has a shielded structure that separates important units. The inside of the shielded case is coated with EMC paint, and electromagnetic wave absorbing sheets are used to achieve further electromagnetic isolation. In addition, the entire inside of the chassis is coated with EMC paint.

Amplifiers are musical instrument

We believe that "Amplifiers are musical instruments," and we create sound using wood. The RSA-EX1000 uses our largest side wood (maple) and wood chassis (laminated spruce). Spruce and maple are the same combination of materials used in violins. By actively controlling the resonance of wood, we can create a rich and energetic sound.
